Way back in the year 2000, the club in association with Air India , created history by giving a free ride in Boeing Aircraft  for 200 multiple Handicapped Children, all from under privilege backgrounds. The flight took off from Nedumbassery airport flew over Trivandrum and then took a low descend over the Vivekananda Rock near Kanyakumari before returning back to Nedumbassery. The project was completely sponsored by the club with the full support of Air India. Air India Specially flew in its Mascot , the “ Maharaja” who accompanied the kids on board. The project was aptly named  “ DREAM COME TRUE” as it was a Dream that would never ever materialize for these children otherwise. The club has continued the project over the years, whenever possible, under different names.
